DETAILS AND INFORMATION: CDL SCHOOL GRADUATES
Covenant is the best place for school graduates to start their careers. Our program gets you out on the road quickly, safely, and profitably. We offer tuition reimbursement for graduates of accredited driving schools upon application and acceptance of a job offer to drive for Covenant Transport.
Covenant has multiple locations around the country from which you can choose to attend your orientation class. We offer 3 free meals a day, free hotel accomodations, and transportation to orientation for recent graduates. Once you complete our 3 day orientation program, you start earning money while you train.
Covenant offers an excellent training program upon completion of our Orientation classes where you are paired with a certified experienced trainer with the goal of honing your driving skills and safety training on live loads. Below are details about our Recent Graduate program.

COVENANT DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
Following are standards that must be met to become a driver at Covenant Transport.
- Must have graduated from qualified (min. 120 hr curriculum) truck driving school within
last 12 months
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21 yrsof age
- Must have HazMat endorsement within 6 months of joining Covenant
- Verifiable employment for past 3 yrs
- No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 yrs(no reckless driving in past 3 yrs)
- No more than 1 preventable accident in motor vehicle in last 3 yrs
- No DUI or drug/alcohol-related motor vehicle incidents in past 5 yrs(not more than one
total allowed)
- No drug/violent felony convictions within past 10 yrs. No current parole or arrest warrants
- Must pass drug test and DOT/Covenant physical and meet DOT driving standards
Please note: If you are disqualified at driver orientation for something you did not disclose to our recruiter prior to orientation, you will be responsible for your own transportation home. Examples of such non-disclosures include failure to report a felony charge under 10 years, exceeding maximum moving & accident violations, suspended license under 3 years, DWI/DUI under 5 years, reckless driving under 3 years, and positive drug screen.
