It’s a history going back more than 30 years, to our founders David and Jacqueline Parker starting Covenant Transport in 1986 with 25 trucks and 50 trailers, and crisscrossing all 50 states and racking up millions of miles traveled by thousands of professional drivers in the ensuing decades.
Ours is a story of service – expedited, temperature-controlled, dedicated, managed transportation and Mexico services – and of freight, a story of moved goods reflecting of our rapidly changing American economy and the needs and preferences of the American people since the mid-1980s.
Our story is also the shared experiences of our thousands of on-site employees based at locations across the United States and Mexico, and of first homes and family additions and lives and careers dedicated to the advancement of a common goal: to keep America’s shelves stocked and her markets moving.
And our history paves the way for our future – our tradition of putting others before ourselves, of treating others the way we want to be treated and acting with integrity, honesty and fairness in all our business dealings guiding our core values and vision through the ever-changing transportation and logistics industry of today.
Our history reminds us of who we are: people, just like the shareholders, customers and employees we commit to serve now, and in the future, just as we have for the last three decades.
Covenant Transport Services today represents the shared resources and market strength of its subsidiaries: Chattanooga, Tenn.- based Covenant Transport, Covenant Transport Solutions, Transport Enterprise Leasing and Transport Financial Solutions; La Vergne, Tenn.-based Star Transportation; and Texarkana, Ark.-based Southern Refrigerated Transport.
